IROPICAN STUDY

A Large Multicenter Case-Control Study to Evaluate Association of Opium Use and Risk of Lung, Bladder, Head and Neck and Colorectal Cancers We have set up a good national and international network to conduct well design study to answer the important public health questions: association between opium use, the role of duration and dose, the role of route of opium consumption (inhalation, oral use, etc.) and opium metabolites and risk of cancer.

Hospital Based Cancer Registry

Establishment a national network of hospital-based cancer registry for evaluation of quality of care in Iran. Data from HBCR will provide valuable information for monitoring of quality of care, patterns of diagnosis and treatment, referral pattern, patient journey, delays in the diagnosis and treatment, and effectiveness of different treatment types.
